Idaho has more miles of whitewater than any state in the lower forty-eight and Stanley is whitewater headquarters for the finest river trips in the state.

1/2, 1, 3 and 6 day Whitewater Float trips are offered by local Licensed and Bonded Guides based in Stanley. The 1/2 day trips are without meals, but the 1, 3 and 6 days trips include fantastic riverside meals cooked over an open fire in a dutch oven.

The 1/2 and 1 day trips leave Stanley each day to float the Main Salmon which runs through Stanley. The 3 and 6 day leave on pre-arranged departure dates to float the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, just forty miles northwest of Stanley.
